North Somerset Council is looking to appoint a small number of dynamic, charismatic volunteers to lead the future development and sustainability of resilient communities.
Working alongside the project team, Voluntary Action North Somerset (VANS) and executive leads of partner agencies you will have a critical role in helping to integrate Community Resilience North Somerset into the wider resilience community. Your efforts will help develop a sustainable network of volunteers, utilising local skills and expertise to help their community in an emergency, in a way that complements the response of the emergency services.
