There are several alert systems tailored to severe weather events that are free to sign up to;
• If your community is at risk from flooding from the coast or river, make sure you are signed up to the Environment Agency’s Flood Warnings Direct service.
• The MET Office provide warnings of severe weather systems heading our way from snow to heatwaves; visit the MET Office website to receive your free alerts.
